What is Evoexcel 2.0?
Evoexcel 2.0 is a food supplement powder made from whey protein obtained from two different extraction methods, isolate and concentrate. Both methods are mechanical processes that will keep the protein intact as well as its quality.
We have created the most digestible protein ever and with the best effects on the bowel, so that it will not cause stomach discomfort which can sometimes happen after drinking a protein shake. You will not have to worry about it anymore!
To do this, we have used an enzyme complex (DigeZyme®), a probiotic complex (LactoSpore®), and bovine colostrum (the first milk produced by the cow after giving birth) which is rich in immunologically active milk fractions. In other words, they support the defenses of our body against infectious microorganisms.
A referent protein for athletes who worry about their immune health!
Why take Evoexcel 2.0?
Evoexcel 2.0 has been made with two of the best raw ingredients available:
- Lacprodan® SP-9225 as source of whey protein isolate.
- Lacprodan®DI-8790 as source of whey protein concentrate.
Both products provided by the company Arla Foods, which manufactures the raw ingredients for the best dairy products designed for sport nutrition.
Evoexcel 2.0 is a whey protein blend of the highest quality that provides 25g of net protein per serving.
Protein supports the growth and protection of the musculoskeletal tissue.
What makes Evoexcel 2.0 different from the rest of proteins?
In HSN, we know that the quality of a product is determinant, that is why our biggest efforts are focused on providing a product with the ideal ingredient combination to fix any weak point. How have we done it you ask? Well, keep reading...
Dairy products can cause intestinal discomfort since, while the organism of babies and small children is adapted to tolerate lactose, this mechanism starts to deteriorate after 2-5 years.
The lactase levels, which is the enzyme that breaks down the sugar from milk in the bowel, start to drop progressively at an early age (Fassio et al., 2018), producing a state known as 'hypolactasia', which leads to 'lactose intolerance'.
Our Evoexcel 2.0 has such a low lactose content that we cannot even measure it in decigrams. However, since it does have a small amount of this sugar, we have decided to include an enzyme complex that breaks down lactose, the protein peptide bonds, the bonds of other carbohydrates and lipids.
DigeZyme®, a studied supplement regarded as a safe and effective alternative to deal with the symptoms of dyspepsia or indigestion. (Majeed et al., 2018)
But that is not all, we have also added a probiotic ingredient in order to support a proper digestion and absorption of the protein from Evoexcel. Do you want to know more?
What is a probiotic?
A probiotic is a product with living bacteria, those that inhabit our bowel and preserve its biosystem. Moreover, they support the digestive process and help with the nutrient absorption in order to avoid any discomfort.
LactoSpore® is the registered brand that we have used in our Evoexcel 2.0.
This product contains bioactive spores from a specific bacterial strain, the Bacillus coagulans. Thanks to its spore structure, it can reach the bowel without being damaged in the stomach. After reaching their destination, the bacteria settle in the bowel and perform three functions:
- Regulate the growth and survival of the remaining intestinal bacteria.
- Improve the functioning of the intestinal mucosa.
- Support the immune system.
Jäger et al. (2018) conducted a study to prove how the intake of the probiotic Bacillus coagulans increases the absorption of protein and enhances the properties associated with protein supplementation.
Finally, we have also added bovine colostrum to our product. Colostrum is a substance that is naturally present in breast milk, and it contains a significant amount of immunological proteins. This substance reduces the intestinal permeability of athletes during competitions, which hinders the nutrient absorption.
Athletes tend to have more chances of suffering malabsorption diseases.
An increase in the temperature and a lower blood flow to the bowel during the workout damages the close bonds of the intestinal cells, causing inflammation and weakening them, which allows the toxins and microorganisms to filter through those 'pores'. Colostrum can keep the bowel cells together and impermeable to potentially pathogenic microorganisms (Halasa et al., 2017). That is why we have also included it in Evoexcel 2.0 in order to improve the absorption and provide more safety.
Without any doubt, Evoexcel 2.0 is the most complete protein available in the market in order to protect the intestinal health.
When is the best time to take Evoexcel 2.0?
You can take Evoexcel 2.0 at any time of the day.
Mix one rounded scoop in 200-250ml of water or milk per serving (depending on the texture and taste that you want). Drink as many servings as you need in order to meet your nutrient requirements.

I´m not a big fan of shakes without chocolate, but I have to admit this one is really good. I used to have one chocolate shake before the workout, and this one is for postgym. Really fresh and light! Highly recommend itHSN Sport Nutrition and Natural Dietetics
I have tried different types of proteins, and this one is my favourite. I will keep ordering it!HSN Sport Nutrition and Natural Dietetics
This is actually the best Whey protein blend I have purchased and I've tried 6 other own-branded supplier products. I was super impressed by the quality when opening the pouch. Just by scooping the powder one can tell how high quality it is. Regarding the smell, oh my... I could keep my head and nose inside the pouch for an hour, that's how good it smells (banana+strawberry flavour). It dissolves very well and the taste is good. For the past few years I've been using only unflavoured whey but I was curious to try the Evoexcel blend having colostrum and lactospore. I can tell for sure it could become my go-to product but the use of sucralose in it will probably prevent me from buying it again. Hopefully HSN can release a unflavoured version or worst case scenario a couple of flavours with stevia. Anyway, all in all this is a fantastic product. Even the pouch is of higher quality material than the competitors, albeit the pouch could be a bit smaller. I assume they have a few different sizes which for the same pouch allow them to sell 500g or 1kg. It just takes more space in my cupboard. :PHSN Sport Nutrition and Natural Dietetics
