HSN, leader in Creapure® sales in Spain
Nevertheless, in our effort to demonstrate our commitment to our clients, we contacted the EFC Consulting certifying company, world leader in compliance certification.
The efcSpain award analysed sales of Creapure® in the year 2019-2020 and certified HSN as the “BEST SELLER”, company in sales Creapure® in Spain, with nearly triple the volume of sales of the second best selling company.
This certification is a guarantee to our customers, where HSN is recognised as a high turnover producer of Creatine Creapure®, but what does this mean?
As more product is sold, larger purchases are made, obtaining commercial advantages derived from the importation of large volumes of raw materials, less frequent journeys and lower shipping costs.
This is in addition to less storage time in our warehouses and the arrival of fresh production batches to our customers.
Our promise to you
At HSN, we want to thank you for the trust you put in us.
We were born a decade ago with the mission and dream to become the largest manufacturer of premium quality food supplements at a fair price, bringing value to our customers, and with the goal of contributing to the transparency of the sports nutrition industry.
We were pioneers in dealing with Clean Label standards, in developing our own factory to control the production process, in obtaining certificates from the most demanding accreditation bodies, and in continuing to improve day by day.
We would like to thank you, on behalf of each and every member of the HSN family, for the daily trust you place in us to take care of your nutrition.
We'll be up to the task, this has only just begun!
One of our commitments for the coming years is, thanks to your help, to maintain our position as certified Creapure® Best Sellers, and to be so with more and more products…
And Spain is only the beginning. You make it possible. Thanks!
Creapure® properties
Creatine
- Daily creatine intake may enhance the effect of resistance training on muscle strength in adults over 55 years of age.1
- Creatine improves physical performance in successive bursts of short, high-intensity exercise.2
Why take Creapure®?
Nobody is indifferent when it comes to Creatine, right?
Creatine monohydrate is the dietary supplement with the highest level of evidence for improving sports performance.
There is practically no difference in results between a creatine monohydrate with or without Creapure® seal.
Looking for a Creatine monohydrate that's not Creapure®? Check out our high-quality creatine monohydrate powder.
Nevertheless, for the experts, the balance is always in favour of purchasing this variant. Why? It's simple:
Because the pharmaceutical quality seal included in this product is unequalled when it comes to guaranteeing the standards required of a creatine with such a high degree of purity.
Why buy Creapure® at HSN?
Among the various formats this dietary supplement comes in, the “king” of nutrition is this variety. It doesn't correspond to a type, rather a seal of quality that the creatine monohydrate possesses.
Creapure®. A coveted raw material
Creatine monohydrate is purified and presented in micronised form through synthesis processes.
The process, although not complex, requires precise temperatures and pressure control, as well as exact exposure times, to guarantee a good end product.
Creapure® is the raw material produced by a German brand AlzChem Trostberg GmbH, which is dedicated to the manufacture of high purity creatine monohydrate, and is the only creatine monohydrate raw material produced in the western hemisphere.
If there's one thing we can assure you, it's that the determination of its quality parameters is not a trivial matter: this supplement is subjected to purity tests by means of HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography).
Through this laboratory procedure, it's possible to check and identify the composition of each element, which is why it's so important and widely used by the pharmaceutical industry.
Creapure® has been synthesised under strict European and German standards, using the best and safest manufacturing processes to minimise the risk of producing unwanted by-products.
Creapure® guarantee:
- Creatine purity >99.9%.
- Creatinine <67 ppm.
- Dicyandiamide (DCD) <30 ppm.
- Dihydrotriazine (DHT) not detected.
All standardisations of the production process are closely controlled, as one of the differentiating factors of Creatine Creapure® is the minimisation of the risk of containing dicyandiamide (DCD) and Dihydro-1,3,5-triazine (DHT).
Two metabolites from the creatine synthesis process that have been described as unwanted and potentially dangerous to health by the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
Pure creatine should not contain more than a few parts of these compounds per million of product (ppm); other creatine manufacturers have been tested and the concentrations of DCD and DHT exceeded the maximum safe thresholds established by EFSA.
The graph above shows the average concentrations of 9 different Creapure® products on sale and the average of 20 generic Creatine monohydrate products.
Creapure® appears in the cologne List®. What does that mean?
That this substance is regularly checked by the German laboratory Olympiastützpunkt Rheinland in order to detect any possible contamination by prohibited compounds.
Manufacturing process of Creapure®
It all starts with the chemical development of two compounds:
- Sarcosine.
- Cyanamide.
In the form of sodium sarcosinate and calcium cyanamide.
Both compounds react in a filtration tank to synthesise creatine:
These molecules were purchased from chemical manufacturers in the past, now AlzChem itself develops the elements that make up Creatine so that the entire process is under its complete control.
- The “raw” cyanamide and sarcosine liquids are introduced into a particulate filter, which forces the reaction between the two compounds by increasing the temperature and holding them in the tank for a certain period of time.
- Once the compounds have reacted, the mixture is aggressively cooled and channelled into a pressure filter, which separates the liquid (waste) and solid (creatine monohydrate) phases mechanically.
- Once the RAW powder is obtained, it is suspended in purified water and pressure filtered as many times as the quality control operator deems necessary to ultrapurify the compound.
- Once the high purity powder is isolated, it's transported to the next step in the production chain, the atomiser, which dries the powder under specific conditions to obtain a moisture content of less than 1.0%, according to the product specifications.
The entire process is carried out in a closed environment mechanism, completely isolated from the outside to ensure no particles enter the process equipment and contaminate the product.
Once the process is finished, the operator extracts a small sample of the product to carry out a personal quality control, determining the percentage of humidity in the laboratory. Once validated: we have Creapure®!
Creapure® packaging
The production is transported to another accredited site with guarantees for the safe treatment of the product to ensure the total absence of contamination during the journey.
At this point in the chain, as at all other stages, operators have been trained and are obliged to perform a thorough disinfection and follow all good laboratory practices to ensure the integrity of the creatine.
The packing process is semi-automatic, the operator simply attaches the 25kg polyethylene bags to the filling machine and seals the bag with their 100% Creapure® seal.
The box of Creapure® leaves the factory in boxes specifically designed by and for AlzChem, which are also labelled by the employee with the respective batch number, date of manufacture and retest date. This ensures full traceability of the product:
- All information on the production of sarcosinate and cyanamide.
- The production date of the creatine.
- The batch size, mass and volume.
- The date of analysis of the batch.
- The date of departure of the batch from the factory.
Everything.
Once these stages are complete, Creapure® creatine is distributed worldwide, including to HSN warehouses in Spain.
Creapure® quality seal
AlzChem is accredited by:
- The Cologne List.
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Halal Control.
- 100% Vegan.
- IFS.
Certifications that, by extension, also accredit Creapure®.
How to take Creatine Creapure®?
Prefer Creapure® Creatine in capsules for easy of use? Don't miss our Creatine Excell 1000mg (100% Creapure®)!
The use of more than 3.5g per serving is associated with digestive discomfort. If higher amounts are used on the prescription of a health professional and under their control, divide the dose into maximum amounts of 3.5g per serving to minimise these undesirable effects.
Other features of HSN Creapure®
100% Neutral
Creapure® produces a fine powder, which is easier to disperse, making its solubility significantly better than other creatine on the market.
It dissolves easily in solution, produces little settling (sedimentation) at the bottom and doesn't form lumps.
It has no flavour or odour; it is completely neutral and doesn't alter the flavour or odour of any element it's mixed with either, which is why you can use it in your normal protein shake without noting its addition.
Flavourless, and with a 10/10 solubility!
Production guarantees
Creapure® creatine monohydrate:
Is on the Cologne List® ensuring the absence of contamination with prohibited substances.
It's vegan. It's Kosher. And it's certified Halal.
The brand's strict guidelines guarantee a high quality production from the beginning to the end of the production process.
Their aim, as we've just mentioned, is to identify and completely eliminate any source of contamination or disturbance of the product.
To do so, they operate in accordance with the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Not surprisingly, the purpose-built factory for the production of Creapure® eliminates any risk of cross-contamination or contamination by other products.
There are several ways to manufacture creatine commercially, but none as safely as the process used by AlzChem AG, which starts with sarcosine and cyanamide.
An unbeatable production method that guarantees compliance with all safety standards.
Its purpose is to completely eliminate the risk of creatine containing two harmful by-products: Dicyandiamide (DCD) and Dihydrotriazine (DHT).
Did you know...
Pure creatine should not contain more than a few dozen per million (ppm) of DCD and non-detectable DHT?
And only Creapure® can guarantee that!
Look out for the Creapure® logo on the packaging, it means you're buying the best and purest creatine monohydrate made in Germany or elsewhere.
HSN. Creapure® 18HR11
The alphanumeric code located on the quality seal of the HSN Creapure® raw material supplements is unique.
The producers of Creapure® Creatine place the logo on their packaging to show that their product contains a premium quality ingredient of guaranteed German origin.
The logo is given to companies that develop Creapure® creatine and issues a unique alphanumeric code. This code verifies the legitimacy of the product thanks to the AlzChem audit that guarantees that the content of the creatine dietary supplement is 100% Creapure® Creatine.
This code is a quality guarantee that certifies, on behalf of Alzchem, the producer of Creapure®, that HSN works with its raw material in the Creatine Monohydrate dietary supplements showing the code.
You can find us in the Nutrition Partners page of the official Creapure® website.
In shore, Creapure® is the next level in terms of creatine. Whether you're already a 'fan' of this dietary supplement of if you're just starting to think about including it in your diet, you can't fail going for Creapure®.

With creatine base breakdown
In the nutritional table of our creatine excell you will find 2 values:
- Creatine monohydrate (Creapure®)
- Creatine
Wasn't it 100% creatine?
Yes indeed, 100% Creapure® creatine monohydrate, the most scientifically studied form of creatine with the most famous trademark on the market.
Creatine monohydrate contains approximately 85% creatine, as the 'monohydrate' which is the compound bound to creatine that makes up the highly valued form, constitutes about 15% of the total weight of the molecule.
One serving of our creatine excell provides 3500mg of Creapure® creatine monohydrate (the entire powder used), of which 3000mg is elemental/base creatine.
Creapure® with external laboratory analysis
At HSN we carry out external verification of the quality of our products.
We want to be as transparent as possible; we always share all the information we have regarding raw materials, production, storage and marketing.
One of our standard practices is to send our products to an independent laboratory: Eurofins Denmark, which performs the DANAK (Danish National Accreditation Body) certified HPLC analysis; and the purity of compounds such as our MSM or our Vitamin C.
We also have the results of the purity analysis of our Creatine Monohydrate (100% Creapure®).
This is obtained through the use of the ALINORM 01/29 Hadorn colourimetric reference method, according to the Codex Alimentarius, with a purity higher than 100%.
How is that possible?
By the margin of error, the uncertainty of the bracket to the right of the 105% purity value, that +/- 12 indicates a variable purity in a confidence interval 93-117%, which gives a typical, or mean, value of 105%.
In addition, the report itself contains a microbiological analysis, where it guarantees the absence of:
- Enterobacteriaceae.
- Aerobic Bacteria.
- Moulds.
- Yeasts.
- Salmonella.
- Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus.
How does Creatine taste?
Creatine monohydrate has a neutral taste.
