Quality development for better nutrition
Authentic low molecular weight collagen peptides. The most effective presentation
Collagen type I is a type of protein that, due to its three-dimensional structure composed of a firm triple helix, requires hydrolysis for proper absorption.
In this process peptides are released, which are amino acid bonds, or simplified protein to put it simply; this is the way collagen is absorbed correctly, only type II collagen can be absorbed in its native, unhydrolysed state.
The molecular weight of the collagen peptides is relevant as it determines the absorption capacity of these complexes, with low molecular weight peptides being the best.
At HSN we follow a hydrolysis treatment under controlled conditions, which allows us to obtain a collagen in low molecular weight peptides, around 3 KDa on average, without generating large amounts of salt or bitterness like other companies.
A whole, clean and pure collagen, to which we add keto flavours for maximum enjoyment of both its taste and nutritional properties.
Bovine origin. Controlled hydrolysis. The best quality collagen raw material.
Collagen can be obtained from various sources, the most common being marine collagen.
However, this collagen is obtained through the treatment of the scales, which retain many pollutants from the sea water, which is not advisable; not to mention that the treatment of the scales to obtain collagen generates large quantities of salt and an unpleasant taste.
Our collagen has a bovine origin, from connective tissue of cows, which produces a collagen free of contaminants, since the animals selected by HSN for the manufacture of this collagen, have not been treated with antibiotics or hormones, and it is not processed from offal, but from connective tissue of premium quality and food grade.
Enjoy collagen made from the best raw materials available. Only at HSN.
With coconut MCT. Free Medium Chain Triglycerides from palm and tropical oils.
MCTs are a type of fatty acid widely used in ketogenic diets, due to their nutritional characteristics.
Several MCT options are available at HSN, both in powder and oil form:
Because they have a shorter structure, they are metabolised more quickly and are therefore more easily digested, absorbed and energy is obtained from them.
MCTs are also widely used, not only in Keto diets, but also in Intermittent Fasting or IF protocols, as they are considered an energy nutrient suitable for consumption during the period of food restriction.
In HSN's keto collagen, we have used pure broad-spectrum mixed MCTs (C6-C10) in powder form, made from coconut oil processing, rather than from tropical oil sources such as palm, which are associated with deforestation and environmental damage.
At HSN we have a social commitment to nature and the population, which is why we only use sustainable sources of cultivation for the development of our preparations, such as MCT oils from coconut.
Sweetened exclusively with Stevia. The best flavours suitable for Keto diets
Sweeteners are a better option than sugars for sweetening, both in normal diets that do not restrict any nutrients and, of course, in ketogenic diets.
There are certain sweeteners that are better than others on Keto diets, for example: A maltitol is not a good sweetener on a Keto diet, while stevia or sucralose are.
Keto Hydrolysed Bovine Collagen has been developed with delicious Keto-friendly flavours, sweetened exclusively with natural stevia (steviol glycosides).
Excellent solubility. Mixes in cold, warm or hot drinks.
An important factor in collagen is that it mixes well, yet many do not.
This may be due to inadequate hydrolysis treatment or poor quality origin.
Our hydrolysed collagen has excellent solubility, it mixes thoroughly and completely in both hot or cold drinks, so you can enjoy its flavours simply by mixing it in a glass of cold water, or in a hot coffee.
To your taste!
Some ideas for use that you can't miss
For Keto diets, here's an idea that you'll love.
Pour 50ml of 18% fat cream into a glass and, using a narrow whisk, whip the cream lightly, frothing it.
When it has a thicker consistency than the original, add 10g of your favourite flavoured collagen and continue whipping the cream.
Add it directly to coffee, for a bulletproof coffee creamer that's high in MCTs and keto fats and delicious.
You can add an extra 10g once brewed to boost the protein content of the coffee you have brewed with collagen, and to further enhance its taste.
Frequently asked questions about collagen and the Keto diet
Why is bovine collagen better than marine collagen?
Bovine collagen is considered a better source than marine collagen for the treatment of the raw material, as it is free from any kind of contamination, being cleaner; and it does not contain allergens either.
Why does it contain MCTs and why are coconut MCTs the best choice?
MCTs are a very common type of fat in ketogenic diets, and are considered the best source of keto energy.
MCTs can come from different sources, however, many of them, such as palm or palm kernel, are not recommended, as the treatment of the fruits of these species is associated with enormous damage to the ecosystem.
At HSN we use coconut that is certified as being of controlled cultivation not based on farming in tropical countries, following sustainable cultivation and harvesting criteria, and treated with extreme care to preserve the structural integrity of its fatty acids as much as possible.
I'm worried about sweeteners, will they get me out of ketosis, are they safe?
The sweeteners we use in all the products in our Keto range, including Keto Collagen, are completely suitable for ketogenic diets and do not interfere negatively with the process of nutritional ketosis, as they have no caloric, glycaemic or insulinaemic impact.
What are the flavours? Which one do you recommend?
We don't have a choice!
All the flavours of Keto Collagen are delicious, we recommend you choose the one you think you might like best. However, the salted caramel flavour is one of our favourites.

A satisfied customer says:
The only collagen I liked
Pris 05/02/2023
After trying many brands and flavors, HSN's salted caramel has won my heart. It is the only collagen that I take for pleasure and not by obligation, with hot milk gives a wonderful taste and if you like sweet it is a must. Very happy and grateful to finally be able to incorporate collagen into my diet. I will recommend it and I will buy it again for sure :)

The chocolate one is not as sweet as the salted caramel one, for people who get sick of others, maybe the chocolate one is for them.

It tastes so good that even mixed with other nasty fishy flavored horrible collagen it still tastes good. I made mix 50% of each and it is still delicious to drink. It dissolves well with hand egg whisk.
