What is Hydrolysed Collagen Powder (Bovine)?
Hydrolysed Collagen Powder (Bovine) by RawSeries is a dietary supplement in powder form, based on hydrolysed bovine collagen.
Collagen is a fibrous protein, the most abundant in our body, made up of two alpha-1 chains and an alpha-2 chain intertwined in the form of a helix, and formed mostly by glycine, proline and hydroxyproline sequences.
This hydrolysed collagen is bovine, and doesn't contain marine elements in its composition, which makes it possible to obtain a collagen protein with neutral flavour and less acidity.
Why buy Hydrolysed Collagen from HSN?
Our hydrolysed collagen is not like the rest. Discover its special features!
Bovine collagen
Bovine collagen is highly valued for its organoleptic properties.
Marine collagen (obtained from the degradation of fish skins and bones) is characterised by being subjected to extraction and acid hydrolysis processes that highly affect its flavour.
In contrast, bovine collagen is easier to separate from other non-collagenous proteins by shorter and less aggressive acid extraction processes.
Our hydrolysed collagen powder (bovine) has been hydrolysed using collagenase enzymes, which, unlike other chemical hydrolysis methods, does not produce as much salt content in the product.
Forget about intense, acidic and salty flavours with hydrolysed collagen. Our collagen has a neutral flavour.
Good solubility
Enzymatic hydrolysis of bovine collagen significantly improves its miscibility.
Native collagen is insoluble in polar environments (such as water), but hydrolysis improves this solubility, although acid hydrolysis (characteristic of marine collagen) can affect this property and increase the sedimentation of protein residues at the bottom of the container.
Our collagen mixes easily in water, even in cold water, and does not settle to the bottom after immediate mixing..
Longer-lasting products
Two options of our hydrolysed collagen are available: 500g and 1kg.
With this format you will have 50 and 100 servings available, respectively, to combine with your favourite dietary supplements and last much longer.
Super versatile
One of the big problems with hydrolysed collagen is that it has a strong taste that can ruin products it’s combined with.
Forget about that!
Our hydrolysed bovine collagen, thanks to its lower salt content and exposure to acidic environment, has a neutral taste, practically flavourless, which makes it a much more versatile product.
It can be easily mixed with proteins such as Keto Whey Protein, or with Evoeaa's and will taste great.
How to take hydrolysed bovine collagen powder?
Hydrolysed bovine collagen powder can be consumed at any time of the day.
What to combine hydrolysed bovine collagen powder with?
You can combine it with vitamin C!
How does Hydrolysed Collagen taste?
