- In a saucepan, add the milk along with the cinnamon sticks and lemon peel (make sure there’s no white part to avoid bitterness).
- Bring to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes to infuse the flavours.
- Remove the lemon peel and cinnamon sticks. Add the fine wholegrain oats and cook for a few minutes until soft. Avoid overcooking, as it can dry out when cooling.
- Once ready, sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top and sweeten to taste with a natural sweetener.
- Let it cool in the fridge for a refreshing treat.
