  1. Bring water to a boil along with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and the chicken protein broth.
  2. Add the bay leaves, basil, garlic powder, and salt to enhance the flavor without adding calories.
  3. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces for quicker and easier cooking, then carefully add the chicken directly to the boiling water.
  4. Cook for 10–12 minutes. Not sure if it's done? Pierce a piece to check that it is fully cooked while remaining juicy.

Extra: mix it with whole wheat pasta and pesto for a light lunch, add it to a vegetable stir-fry for a quick meal, or include it in a wrap with avocado and spinach for a healthy dinner.

Tip: adjust the seasonings to your taste to give it a special touch. Try adding pepper, garlic, or ground ginger.
