Our fig paste is natural, but we know that real food purists might ask: why not make it just with figs?

The reason is simple: a paste made only from dried figs would be too thick, extremely sweet and hard to handle as a spread or cooking ingredient.

That’s why we add water, which naturally softens its texture, making it lighter, creamier, and easier to use.

And we include citric acid, a compound found in fruits like lemons and oranges, which balances the sweetness and helps maintain a pleasant and stable flavour.

This has been my latest HSN discovery. And believe me it is tremendously delicious. I make my breakfast smoothie and accompany it with some toast with this fig spread. It's amazing.
