Rice cream is a food rich in complex carbohydrates, and low in sugar.
This makes it the ideal food for athletes looking for easily digestible sources to consume before or after training sessions, in a delicious way.
Each 50g service of rice cream from FoodSeries provides 39g of carbohydrates, 79% of its composition.
Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after high-intensity or long-term physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stored in skeletal muscles.2
The HSN rice cream is unique in the market.
Discover the characteristics that make it the food that will never be missing from your kitchen again!
Thanks to the use of a mixture of rice flour and its hydrolysed version, the sugar content is low.
It only contains 2.1g of sugar per portion in its unflavoured version, none of which are added – they're all naturally present.
In addition, it is a low-salt food in its unflavoured version.
The rice cream doesn't require a shaker for homogeneous integration in the form of rice porridge.
You can use a bowl, whereby gradually adding the product while stirring with a utensil you will get a mixture of incomparable texture with a very low presence of lumps.
It's important that the water temperature is not too cold or too hot to prevent the polymerisation of dust and the appearance of lumps, especially when mixed without making use of a shaker. The water or drink to be used is best at room temperature.
The result of mixing and making rice cream is unrivalled: An extra-creamy and smooth but consistent rice cream.
The rice cream contains a certain proportion of hydrolysed rice flour.
This is the only source of natural sugars, from the hydrolysis of rice starch.
It does not contain added sugars, only those naturally present in the rice flours used.
Although rice cream has a slight sweet aftertaste in its unflavoured version, the taste of the cream is neutral, so it's easy to combine with other products, both sweet and savoury, depending on your personal taste.
The rice cream is suitable for celiacs and people with non-allergic gluten sensitivity.
Not only is the rice is a gluten-free cereal, but the raw materials used are certified as gluten-free, and the product has not been exposed to the allergen during manufacture thanks to the straining and careful control of allergens in HSN's factory cleanrooms with filtration particles.
Rice cream is a 100% gluten-free product.
You may be wondering why you mix two different types of rice flour, when you have each of them separately in our catalogue:
The reason for this combination is to obtain the perfect balance between the organoleptic characteristics of both raw materials, thus achieving:
- Best texture: Smooth and creamy.
- Best flavour: Neutral, no bitterness, slightly sweet.
- The best mix: Low lumpiness, homogeneous result.
You won't find another rice cream like it!
You can use it at any time!
It's ideal as a snack along with a protein source like our Soy Protein Isolate. And both before and after training by athletes.
To achieve an optimal texture, place the recommended volume of liquid, preferably warm or, failing that, at room temperature, in a bowl. Gradually add the product and stir it in vigorously with a whisk or fork.
You can also mix the product in a shaker using liquid at room temperature. Once integrated, pour into a bowl, heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds and stir the mixture.
1 contains naturally present sugars.
2 The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming carbohydrates from all sources with a total intake of 4g per kg of body weight, in doses taken within four hours (or at most six) after completion of a high-intensity or long-term physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stored in skeletal muscles.
