Date Paste by FoodSeries is a Date Paste made from whole dates with a fine texture and a delicious flavour, made from naturally sourced ingredients.

The date is the natural sweetener par excellence for RealFooders, as the sugars it contains are arranged in the food matrix and are not pure sugars, or added.

A natural source of fibre

The date is a fruit naturally rich in fibre.

Our Date Paste, made with a high concentration of dates, all of them whole, with their skin, is also a great source of fibre, which makes it a perfect food to improve the Western diet, characterised by the low presence of dietary fibre.

No added sugars

Date Pasteis a product made from dates and contains no added sugars, although it has naturally present sugars from the fruit.

Why does it contain water and citric acid?

Our Date Paste is 100% natural, although most realfooders will wonder why it's not 100% date.

The answer is because making date paste without additives results in too dense, sweet and unattractive a paste.

To improve the recipe, we've added water, which lightens the Paste naturally.

As well as citric acid, a compound naturally present in fruits such as lemons and oranges, which corrects the acidity of the Date Paste.

No sugars, fats, sweeteners or added salt

Our Date Paste has none of these!

Its sugar content comes exclusively from the sugars naturally present in the natural date.

It provides almost no fat per serving (0.02g) and its salt content per 100g is only 0.01g, coming from the sodium present in the date, which is considered null.

It contains no oils added to its composition.
