EGCG Complex - The easiest and most complete way to administer EGCG
EGCG Complex from EssentialSeries is a formula based on natural Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate from a high-concentration green tea leaf extract, combined with BioPerine®, a patented black pepper fruit extract with a high piperine content to optimize the metabolism of catechins; and Vitamin C + Zinc.
A capsule presentation developed to facilitate the use of the most famous, studied, and relevant catechin in the natural composition of green tea: EGCG. Combined with agents aimed at optimizing its absorption and overall effectiveness as a compound, and important nutrients with synergistic mechanisms of action to complete the product's effectiveness.
HSN's EGCG Complex is a must for people looking to benefit from the properties of this catechin, as part of a thermogenic stack, or for simple personal care, as it contains no stimulants in its composition.

Natural green tea EGCG
EGCG (Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate) is a catechin, a type of compound very characteristic of different tea varieties; it is formed as a gallic acid ester and epigallocatechin. It is the main polyphenol present in green tea leaves, which are the most concentrated part of the plant in bioactives.
Many EGCGs on the market are presented in ultra-purified versions, with values around 90%, but they are obtained after a synthetic process; this system is chosen because it is cheaper and more affordable for the company that markets it, reducing production costs; however, EGCG is a naturally occurring compound in green tea, so we thought why not take advantage of it?
We have developed our product with a reference raw material, a high-concentration green tea extract with an ultra-purified content of its natural polyphenols, selecting the extraction and isolation of the specific compound EGCG, achieving up to 95%; this allows us to offer a natural, high-concentration, and pure EGCG.
95% EGCG - No significant content of other catechins
Green tea extracts present different concentrations of EGCG, as long as they are standardized, which is already a sign of good quality control, fluctuating between 10-15% and 35-45%; being only a part of the total polyphenol content of the product. Our Green Tea Extract (25:1) 500mg provides that 45%, which is already a high value of EGCG content.
However, for the exclusive use of this compound, or with the intention of making the most of its properties, this contribution may be inefficient, and for this reason, we have created EGCG Complex, as an optimized way to administer this specific type of catechin, and a formulation adapted to its specific properties.
We have developed a formula with a high-concentration natural green tea extract standardized to 95% in EGCG, therefore, with minimal content of other catechins or polyphenols naturally present in green tea, ensuring its natural content is concentrated in this specific catechin.
With added piperine to optimize its effectiveness
Green tea catechins have been a subject of debate for decades, due to inconsistencies in the results obtained in relation to the study of their properties; however, we now know that these inconsistencies stem from the lack of care and consideration for their absorption.
Catechins, including EGCG, have very low bioavailability, making it difficult for them to fully manifest their properties, and they can confuse users and researchers about the potency and real extent of their effects. The issue is that green tea extracts with high catechin content must be co-administered with agents that optimize their bioavailability, and the most famous among them is Piperine.
Piperine is an alkaloid naturally present in the fruit of black pepper (Piper nigrum) in variable amounts. In our EGCG Complex, we have added a black pepper fruit extract patented by the prestigious company Sabinsa, with a high standardized content of 98.5% in natural piperine.
Complex with Vitamin C and Zinc mineral, why?
EGCG Complex is a 'complex' because, in addition to providing epigallocatechin gallate and piperine, its formula has been complemented with other nutrients that have nutritional relevance in relation to the primary effects of tea catechins.
Vitamin C is an important antioxidant, capable of helping to combat oxidative damage in cells that are exposed to high levels of oxidative stress.
While zinc is an essential element that contributes to the normal metabolism of fats and carbohydrates, thus providing clear and relevant metabolic benefits to the overall formula.
142.5mg of pure EGCG per capsule - Properties
Each vegetable capsule of EGCG Complex provides 142.5mg of Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate, equivalent to 285mg per recommended daily dose of two capsules.
The Epigallocatechin Gallate used comes from the species Camellia sinensis (green tea), which is recognized as a plant traditionally used to facilitate weight loss along with dietary measures, as well as being a natural source of antioxidants.
The natural green tea extract with EGCG helps to improve metabolism.
Caffeine-free - Can be taken even at night
One of the issues that requires the most consideration is the stimulant content of products that provide EGCG, as part of their properties are naturally attributed to their benefits on metabolism and body weight, many products simply provide green tea extracts with significant caffeine content.
And not everyone wants to use these caffeine contributions, as it limits the use of catechin products, as it prevents their intake at night, due to the negative interference it presents with rest.
Our green tea extract used to prepare the EGCG Complex supplement is decaffeinated, ideal for maximizing the naturally positive properties of the compound, without the need to control and limit the time of day for its use. You can use EGCG Complex at night without any inconvenience.
What to combine EGCG with? Here are some options:
EG CG can be combined with multiple products depending on the desired goals. At HSN, we make it easy for you and recommend combining it with different formulas to achieve your goals:
- If you are looking for cholesterol control: Combine it with Phytosterol Complex.
- If you are looking to take care of blood glucose: Combine it with Chromium Picolinate.
- And if you are looking to benefit from the metabolic effects on body weight, we recommend a classic and effective combination:
Caffeine + EGCG + P-Synephrine + Cayenne Extract.
A combination you can find in the formula Cutting Complex from Vitaminalia. Don't miss it!
