I love these bars. I have them in all four flavors although the one I like the most is the chocolate and caramel. I wish they had a lactose free version as I am lactose intolerant and that is the downside I have. But the flavor is very well achieved and is great even as a snack in the middle of the workday.

Evobars Protein Bars from SportSeries is a chocolate-coated bar with caramel inside, made with sweeteners and no added sugar, with a high content of good quality protein.

HSN bars have been prepared by authentic chefs specialising in international confectionery, with certain conditions that we set as a guide: no added sugar, no hydrogenated fats, ingredients for their preparation had to be of quality, no second-rate ingredients because they are 'hidden' in a bar, only the best. And we wanted the protein content to be high using quality proteins such as dairy proteins.

One of the most common uses for Evobars, although many people use them directly as a post-workout protein source, is as a snack.

High-quality protein content

One of the major issues we've always encountered, since the launch of our first bars, and that made people look at us strangely when we requested it is: we want bars made with quality ingredients.

This is strange in the industry, as commercial protein bars are a mishmash of additives, caseinates, sugars, and refined flours; with hydrogenated fats... all wrong!

We don't want to sell protein bars like that because HSN has been committed to healthy and quality food from the beginning, so we needed a balance between good nutritional quality and taste.

That's why Evobars aren't 'zero' bars, because they really have chocolate as a coating, but with no added sugar; they also have caramel inside, made with sweeteners, and the soy 'crunch' that we've all fallen in love with and which results in an incredible mixed texture experience.

Our Evobars have fewer calories than traditional chocolate bars, are low in sugar, and high in protein, while maintaining the essence of the chocolate coating of the most popular options on the market, made with the highest quality.

Perfect snack size: 60g - Satisfies without filling

Another common issue when preparing our bars has been: How big should they be?

We did different tests:

The first one was 40 grams, resulting in a tasty, easy-to-eat bar, but we noticed that as a single snack it might be too small, it was too light.

The second attempt was 100 grams, resulting in a larger bar, which was not convenient to transport, and had limitations when it came to storing it in a trouser pocket or backpack to take anywhere you wanted to eat it; also, for some people, those with less appetite, it was excessively large and they tended to eat half and leave the rest for later.

We tested intermediate sizes between 40 and 100g until we achieved the perfect weight: 60 grams.

With ideal dimensions to store in any pocket, even in bicycle compartments, for example; very easy to eat, satisfying, but not excessive, that anyone can open and share or eat without having to save for later.

The perfect size for a protein bar designed to help you maintain a balanced diet without feeling hungry or relying on containers all the time.

Is Evobars the right bar for me?

But the answer is simple: Absolutely.

Evobars are simply high-protein bars, like the proteins you consume in other foods in your regular diet, but in a convenient format with a delicious sweet flavour.

They are the ideal option for people looking to increase or maintain an adequate protein intake, and who opt for a light and delicious snack, to take anywhere, as they are convenient to transport and the experience of consuming them is delicious.

Do Evobars make you gain weight? What if I don't exercise?

Caloric intake determines whether a product is more likely to 'make you gain weight'.

We need to understand that no food makes you gain weight as such, there are just foods or food preparations that are more likely to help you gain weight in the context of a hypercaloric diet, considering other foods you consume in your diet.

Evobars provide approximately 220kcal, which is around 10% of the recommended daily caloric intake for an average adult without high energy demands (medium activity).

As such, it is not considered a high-calorie product. Evobars do not 'make you gain weight' to the extent that they are not a significant contributor to increasing daily caloric intake above normocaloric intake levels; even without exercising, as this is not a requirement to consume Evobars in your diet.

What is the best flavour of Evobars?

This is a matter very relative to individual tastes.

The most popular flavour since the launch of Evobars has been Brownie, as it appeals to many people due to its flavour profile; however, the yoghurt-cherry flavour has been a classic favourite for many users since Evobars became our most iconic protein bar.
