Before this Lacprodan Micelpure casein became available I used to buy micellar casein always here on the site, the powder of which stuck like nothing to hands, scoops, etc., and whose solubility was woeful to say the least (there were almost always very compact grains of powder left that were difficult to crack to dissolve effectively). This one, on the other hand, is really top notch! It also tastes good.

Native Casein - A 100% Lacprodan Development

Native Casein (Lacprodan®MicelPure™) by RawSeries is a protein produced using a native production process. Instead of being obtained from the whey separation process for the production of cheese and other dairy products, it is produced directly from fresh milk.

This means that the protein structure remains natural, i.e. native, as it would be in milk without any alteration or degradation. This is guaranteed thanks to Arla's decades of expertise as the world's leading manufacturer of dairy products that we all have in our fridges.

In addition, this protein cannot be of higher quality as the milk is sourced from pastured cows from Arla Foods farms that meet all quality guarantees.

Caseins are obtained by separating the Whey from the native milk, and from these caseins the protein (casein) powder is obtained.

This process is not the best, as the protein starts to move away from what is a natural preparation, and in the end, it is a preparation of a preparation in turn.

Native proteins are a solution to this problem, as they are obtained directly from milk, rather than from casein as a dairy by-product of milk processing. Arla offers full guarantees of native treatment of this protein.

Because they not only follow a native procedure as such, but they also guarantee that this procedure is gentle and good for the protein, i.e. they use tools that are not aggressive towards the raw material.

Even if a company markets a native protein because it is obtained directly from milk without prior processing, if its treatment conditions are not optimal the structure is not really native, i.e. the protein is native but its protein structure is not.

Even though you can read in the list of ingredients of the product that it contains an emulsifier: Sunflower lecithin is not an ingredient added by HSN.

Arla itself integrates the emulsifier in its pure raw material, why?

Because an emulsifier is an ingredient that helps to mix products that do not mix well with liquids.

Despite popular belief, 'regular' proteins are not easily miscible in liquid, let alone ready to be poured into water or milk and mixed with a shaker.

The proteins adapted to this mode of use are called 'instant' and this is because they contain lecithins that coat the protein particles. These lecithins are natural compounds that act as emulsifiers, and at HSN we chose sunflower lecithins because they are superior to soy lecithins as they do not contain the allergen.

What is this protein recommended for? Native Casein before bedtime

Native Casein (Lacprodan®MicelPure™) is a slow-release protein due to its micellar structure.

The ideal time to use it is before bedtime, or if you don't want to use it at this time, it is the ideal protein to cope with a long day without food, i.e.:

Casein is the best protein before bedtime or for consumption between meals several hours apart.

It is not a suitable protein for use around training. For this purpose, it is better to purchase an alternative protein with a faster absorption rate, such as Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate.

How to prepare Native Micellar Casein?

You can combine it with any other food supplement, such as Glutamine Powder or Creatine Monohydrate Powder.

    It is the first time I try it, I ordered the neutral flavor because the flavored ones I'm afraid to ask for them in case I get too cloying, good solubility I mix it in a glass and spoon and perfect, the neutral flavor can be taken, and when I take it it takes away my hunger for hours, it satiates me quite a lot.
