This particular species has been obtained for the first time from the extraction of the lakes of the Veta La Palma estate, an authentic natural paradise and maximum expression of biodiversity where under its waters is found the greatest environmental treasure: Tetraselmis chuii as part of the marine phytoplankton species.

From the collection of this species and its validation as the most suitable source for the highest potency SOD, a unique proprietary cultivation system has been developed and protected under TetraSOD's patent rights, ensuring that there is no other SOD like it on the market.

Phytoplankton is not collected from free environments but is collected from internal culture, controlled under specific conditions of environmental exposure to factors such as Co2, sunlight, and nutrients in the culture medium.

I am buying different antioxidants from HSN but this one comes from cultivated algae and is very rich in vitamin C and that's all said and done. I believe in the quality of HSN and it will do me a lot of good.
