According to scientific studies, the fatty acids naturally present in the Saw Palmetto berry are responsible for at least the majority of the plant's functional properties. Fatty acids are therefore the standardised compounds in Saw Palmetto Berry Extract by HSN.

Other functional compounds naturally present in the Saw Palmetto berry include phytosterols, flavonoids, and high molecular weight polysaccharides.

HSN Extract is standardised to 85% full-spectrum fatty acids, so in this product, you will find a high concentration of the two most relevant native fatty acids in the Saw Palmetto berry: Oleic acid and lauric acid. In addition, you will also find individual fatty acids naturally present in the lipid fraction of the berry: caprylic acid, capric acid, myristic acid, etc.
