The strains used in HSN Biotics products have been grown in controlled media under unfavourable environmental conditions, challenging the survival of microorganisms and allowing only those most resistant to variations in pH, temperature or humidity to survive.

The activity of bacteria is determined on the basis of their ability to form colonies (CFU)

Starters need to be live micro-organisms to be considered as such, the way to ensure this is to know their ability to form colonies (by determination of CFU's) at the end of the shelf life of the product.

  • It was like a miracle for me

    I had to take two high doses of antibiotics because of severe acne. After two weeks at the latest, I knew what gastrointestinal pain was. The pain was so severe that I rolled back and forth on the bed in the fetal position. Then I discovered Respi biotics and ordered it. Two days later the pain was gone and when I had a bowel movement in the morning everything smelled normal again instead of like death and decay.

    I had tested the version with less UFC and not that I noticed differences but I suppose they are there. Anyway, interesting to get the microbiota tuned up for the time change.
