Turmeric, so highly prized worldwide, is used as the source of one of the most highly valued extracts on the food supplement market: Turmeric root extract.

Extraction methods can vary depending on the raw material, ranging from very mild treatments using water to aggressive treatments using irritating solvents.

At HSN, we work on optimising our processes daily. Our turmeric root extract was to be no exception. It is no less than 50 times more concentrated than the native raw material from which it originates.

This means that the 650mg dose provided by this product is equivalent to 32.5g of native turmeric root.

Turmeric is very rich in polyphenolic compounds called curcuminoids, including the famous curcumin.

However, the only part of turmeric that is really rich in these compounds is the root.

Turmeric root is the most prized part of this plant, which is why we have developed our food supplement with just the root.

The product is certified as 100% turmeric root extract, which guarantees the natural presence of the plant's natural biocomponents, in maximum concentration and bioavailability.

The treatment of the raw material can always negatively affect the supply of biocompounds naturally contained in turmeric.

Our extraction process is based on non-aggressive processes, thus allowing us to guarantee better control of the quality criteria based on the nutritional composition of the turmeric extract.

The raw material used, turmeric extract, has therefore been standardised to a high natural curcuminoid content of no less than 95%.

Thus, each turmeric extract vegetable capsule unit provides 617.5mg of curcuminoids out of a total of 650mg.
