Usual processing of whey protein

Any food supplement made from protein needs to be processed in order to preserve its properties before reaching the final product: a soluble and instant concentrate powder.

During the production of a whey protein, the fresh milk undergoes several purification and filtration processes to get rid of the fat, microorganisms and the biggest carbohydrate molecules. None of these ingredients are useful when it comes to whey protein.

Although this industrial process does not alter the nutritional quality of its proteins (you will absorb and use the protein in the same way), the temperature does alter those nutrients that are heat-sensitive. These have positive effects on our health and they nutritionally 'enrich' the whey.

The raw ingredient of our protein has been processed with a different manufacturing method than other proteins. Basically, the fresh milk is filtered in order to remove all the waste products that are naturally present in why. But the temperature never exceeds the 15ºC.
