Energy gels are a common choice among endurance athletes who need to consume large amounts of energy during training and competitions. Evoenergy Maxigel was created to meet the needs of the most demanding athletes, providing an extra dose of carbohydrates and electrolytes for their intra-training nutrition.
Evoenergy Maxigel provides 60g of carbohydrates per unit, with a glucose:fructose ratio of 1:0.8, making it ideal for optimal energy replenishment during physical activity. It also contains an important dose of sodium at 120mg.
With the tasting pack, you can try all the flavours, and see how you feel with the caffeinated and non-caffeinated versions.
Which athletes can use these gels?
- Athletes, particularly those in endurance sports, regardless of their level.
- Runners, cyclists, and endurance sports enthusiasts who train for over 90-120 minutes.
- Any athlete in competitions needing a significant dose of carbohydrates for energy.
What does this tasting pack include?
 | Evoenergy Maxigel is the 'Maxi-' version of HSN's classic Evoenergy Gels. With 40% more content than the classic version, you can now enjoy more concentrated energy gels for your training and competitions. Available in the following flavours: Lemon, Unflavoured, Orange, and Pineapple, depending on the version chosen. |
Tips for using Maxigels
Evoenergy Maxigel has a lighter consistency than the traditional Evoenergy Gels, which means, unlike the original, it does not require water to comfortably 'take' it. Simply use it during your training sessions or sporting events, directly from the sachet.
What to use the gels with?
Sports gels are always a complement to intra-training nutrition protocols. Fluid, electrolyte, and carbohydrate replenishment during sessions is done with liquid isotonic drinks such as Evocarbs 2.0 or Evotonic, for which Evoenergy Maxigel provides an excellent complementary carbohydrate and energy boost.
