Don’t miss it!
Why combine them? Here’s the story
What is curcuma and why is it used?
Curcuma is a natural extract obtained from the rhizome of the plant Curcuma longa.
It is widely used as a dietary supplement, being one of the most studied and traditionally used species, which thanks to new concentration techniques, has seen a resurgence in extracted and standardized form.
And Boswellia serrata?
The Boswellia serrata is a tree native to arid regions of India, Africa and the Middle East, whose resin is used as a dietary supplement.
It has established itself as one of the most used plants, especially by athletes and older people, for use on its own or in combination with other compounds, including curcuma, as an extract for joint use.
A unique blend!
In terms of formulation and use of dietary supplements, there are certain compound combinations that, thanks to popular experience and testing in 'clinical trial' studies, start to gain relevance and become popular.
One of them, after our surveys and the HSN team’s own experience is the turmeric and boswellia extract; many health-conscious users for digestive and joint health (in particular) buy the two products separately to use them together at home.
Now we’ve developed a combined presentation of the two herbal extracts: Curcuma and boswellia, of the highest quality.
With the best international raw materials
We use the best international patents for the development of our Premium Complex.
On one hand we use BCM-95® as the curcuma extract raw material, because:
- Uses rhizome of Curcuma longa, the part of the plant with the highest functional quality for its composition.
- Is properly standardized in high concentration of curcuminoids and with declared content of essential oil rich in turmerone.
- Breaks down its curcumin content, representing about 65% of the net composition of the curcuma extract.
Maximum quality guaranteed.
On the other hand, the boswellia extract we’ve used is a raw material already known to our brand since we’ve been selling it for some time in our Boswellia serrata extract (15:1) 340mg (Boswellin®). We use Boswellin® because:
- Uses resin from Boswellia serrata, which is the most concentrated part in boswellic acids of the plant.
- Its standardization is optimal, ensuring content not only of boswellic acids in general but a breakdown of these acids.
- Is standardized to 30% AKBA, a type of beta-boswellic acid recognized as the most relevant in the Boswellin® composition.
A quality combo made with authentic, top-quality raw materials.
Simple formula for joint health - what does it do?
One of the most recognized properties of both extracts, and the reason they’re commonly used together, is their effects on joints, since:
- Curcuma helps to maintain joint and bone health.
- Boswellia serrata supports joint flexibility and helps keep joints fresh and comfortable.
Another effect that may be interesting about the product is the help to the digestive system in general, since boswellia supports gastrointestinal health, and curcuma assists the digestion process.
You can combine it with other supplements!
The curcuma and boswellia are fully compatible with other dietary supplements, commonly used together with other compounds such as:
