Eggshell Membrane (Ovomet®) 300mg from EssentialSeries is a dietary supplement in vegetable capsules developed using the patented ingredient under the brand Ovomet®, which is undenatured eggshell membrane with a wide spectrum of natural bioactives from this structure.

Eggshell membrane is a recognized source of multiple compounds native to the egg, which are of nutritional interest to humans for their use as a dietary supplement as it provides different types of collagens, enzymes, and other compounds. Scientific research on this ingredient has been steadily growing for over a decade.

The HSN formula is suitable for vegetarian diets, as despite the main raw material containing egg, the rest of the formula does not contain animal ingredients, including the capsules, which are vegetable-based and gelatin-free.

Supply of undenatured collagens type I, V, and X

According to certified measurements by Eggnovo, the developer of Ovomet®, its eggshell membrane contains over 400 different proteins as established by their proteomic studies.

Among them are the native collagens of the egg membrane, including subtypes:

  •  Type V Collagen.
  •  Type X Collagen.

    I am not able to assess the effects because they are difficult to measure without a laboratory and there is no consensus, but the side effects are negligible so, in case of bone, muscle or similar injury, odeal to give a chance to this type of product for its quality-price.
