Coenzyme Q10 200mg + BioPerine® - High concentration
Coenzyme Q10 200mg + BioPerine® from EssentialSeries is a dietary supplement in vegan capsules made from the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10: Ubiquinone, and Black Pepper extract standardized in piperine (patent BioPerine®). The formula has been enhanced with vitamin B2 and selenium for their synergistic activity.
Ubiquinone is the standard form of coenzyme Q10 because it’s the oxidized form our body mainly uses. Also, its chemical stability and ease of storage by the user make it the most commonly used form in dietary supplements.
Our Coenzyme Q10 has been carefully processed to guarantee its concentration and activity, plus improved bioavailability thanks to BioPerine® (Badmaev et al., 2000).
Coenzyme Q10 200mg - discover it and be amazed!
High single dose: 200mg per capsule
When we talk about Coenzyme Q10, we find a variable dose range usually between 30 and 200 mg daily.
Lower doses (30-100 mg) are commonly used for daily maintenance, while higher doses (100-200 mg) are reserved for situations seeking a more specific effect of the compound.
The Coenzyme Q10 you’re looking at has a single dose of 200mg, placing it in the highest range of daily doses used. This dose is ideal for those wanting the maximum effects and benefits of this important antioxidant. However, if you’re just after CoQ10 for mild daily support alongside other supplements you already take, you might prefer the 100mg option, also available in our catalog: Coenzyme Q10 100mg + BioPerine®.
An optimized formula with Vitamin B2 and Selenium
Our Coenzyme Q10 includes carefully selected nutrients added for their synergistic properties:
- Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
It’s in the formula because it contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, key benefits sought by those using coenzyme Q10.
- Selenium
Which helps protect cells from oxidative damage.

Guaranteed stability: top-quality Coenzyme Q10
Ensuring the stability of a compound used in a dietary supplement is crucial so its nutritional properties stay intact from production to consumption. When a substance is unstable, it can degrade or transform easily due to factors like heat, light, and oxygen, significantly lowering its quality. For coenzyme Q10, which is fat-soluble, this is especially important, as its chemical structure can be altered more easily, affecting absorption and thus bioavailability.
Ubiquinone, being the oxidized form, is much more stable than its reduced counterpart, ubiquinol. This greater stability means that thanks to our careful quality control throughout production, it retains its integrity easily during storage at home by the user, ensuring the final product contains the amount of coenzyme Q10 stated on the label throughout its shelf life. Ubiquinone is an excellent alternative to ubiquinol, offering a formulation more resistant to degradation and much easier to store after first opening.
At HSN, we follow controlled procedures with full traceability of the manufacturing process to guarantee the stability of all our dietary supplements, even the most sensitive to degradation.
An allergen-free formula fully suitable for vegan diets
The Coenzyme Q10 200mg + BioPerine® product is totally suitable for vegan diets and has no incompatibilities with any dietary condition, as it contains no allergens in its composition.
Why does it contain BioPerine®?
We have studies like Badmaev et al. (2000), which state:
'Dietary supplementation of coenzyme Q10 with piperine produced a statistically significant increase in plasma area under the curve, approximately 30% higher than that observed during supplementation with coenzyme Q10 alone.'
Piperine is an alkaloid compound found in the outer layer of black peppercorns (Piper nigrum) and is responsible for its spicy flavor; we’ve used the most globally recognized black pepper extract patent:

BioPerine® is a patented black pepper extract, registered as a trademark by Sabinsa Corporation, notable for its guaranteed 98.5% piperine content.
Enjoy Coenzyme Q10 with the highest bioavailability thanks to piperine in our formula.

What other CoQ10 options do I have?
Besides Ubiquinone, available in 100mg and 200mg presentations, you can choose ubiquinol, the reduced form of coenzyme Q10.
Find it available with the best raw material worldwide in our catalog: Ubiquinol (Kaneka Ubiquinol™) 100mg.
Ubiquinone vs Ubiquinol, which one should I choose?
Generally, ubiquinone is the default presentation used when referring to the substance 'Coenzyme Q10'.
Milligram for milligram, ubiquinol is considered a more efficient form, as it’s the reduced form of coenzyme Q10. However, manufacturers must have excellent control over its production process, and storage at home is more delicate.
HSN’s ubiquinol is reliably stabilized, so you can be confident that at every stage of production, ubiquinol has been handled according to standards to prevent degradation. The choice is yours:
- If you’re careful and can ensure proper storage at home, you can use Ubiquinol.
- If you plan to travel with the product, use it outside home, or aren’t sure about temperature or humidity where you’ll store it, better go with Ubiquinone.
Coenzyme Q10 and Monacolin K, what’s the connection?
Monacolin K is the most recognized active ingredient in fermented red yeast rice. The metabolic pathway through which monacolin K exerts its positive physiological effects is also responsible for coenzyme Q10 synthesis in the body. That’s why when monacolin K is consumed, endogenous CoQ10 production decreases, which can lead to lower levels. These effects are well documented in scientific literature (Folkers et al., 1990).
This is why there’s interest in supplementing red yeast rice use with coenzyme Q10.
Usage recommendations: is it for you?
Coenzyme Q10 can be used by anyone wanting to enjoy the nutritional benefits of this compound, but specifically, there are 3 key groups who benefit most. These groups are:
- Older adults or seniors: Coenzyme Q10 levels naturally decrease with age. Older adults can benefit from supplementing to compensate for this reduced endogenous synthesis (Barcelos et al., 2019).
- People with high physical demand or athletes: Those doing intense or high-performance physical activity have higher energy needs and may experience increased oxidative stress. Coenzyme Q10 is widely used as a supplement by athletes with high energy demands.
- Individuals exposed to high oxidative stress: They may consider including a coenzyme Q10 supplement, as well as other antioxidants like ALA or vitamin C.

What other products work well with CoQ10?
Coenzyme Q10 can be used with any other dietary supplement, as it has no contraindications. The products most commonly used alongside CoQ10 are:
- Omega-3.
- Ultra B-Complex.
- Vitamin D.
- Citrus Bioflavonoids Complex.
- Hydrolyzed Collagen + Magnesium 2.0.
