- Divide the egg whites evenly between 7 cavities of a mini muffin tin (around 20 ml per cavity). The egg whites should cover the bottom in a thin layer.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, sunflower seeds, and poppy seeds, distributing all the ingredients evenly between the cavities.
- Gently stir the mixture in each cavity to combine the ingredients well.
- Cook in the Air Fryer at 190°C for 8–10 minutes. Ideally, use an Air Fryer with both upper and lower heating elements to ensure even cooking and browning.
- If your Air Fryer only has a top heating element, wait until the bites are fully set on top, carefully flip them over, and finish cooking on the other side.
- You can also prepare them in the oven at 190°C, using top and bottom heat, until fully set and lightly golden.
- Leave them to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the tin. As they cool, they will firm up, making them perfect as a savoury, crispy, high-protein snack.
