  • 250 g of organic butter (Ghee)
  • 250 g of coconut flower sugar
  • 250 g of ground almonds (hazelnuts or grated coconut alternatively)

How to make: Gluten-free Almond Cake

  1. Separate the yolks and whites from the eggs.
  2. Beat the egg whites until they reach their peak and set aside in the refrigerator.
  3. Beat the egg yolks together with the sugar and the butter (which should be at room temperature) until it looks frothy.
  4. Stir gently and add the ground almonds.
  5. Finally, add the egg whites to the mixture.
  6. Grease the cake mould with a little butter and place the cake mixture in the mould.
  7. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 160 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Advice: If you want, you can add a chocolate icing to the cake after taking it out of the oven. To do this, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie for an hour and spread it on the cake with a brush. For decoration, you can sprinkle some sliced almonds on top
