The Hyperproteic Dark Chocolate sugar free tablets by FoodSeries are made with 58% Belgian cocoa, famous for being the best cocoa in the world for its exquisite taste and texture.
The secret of Belgian chocolate lies in the beans quality, the concentration of cocoa and the meticulous, handcrafted production process.
Unlike other chocolates that include vegetable fats, Belgian origin chocolate is pure chocolate made from 100% cocoa beans of the highest quality, previously selected according to maturity, colour, size and weight.
Some of these seeds are ground to obtain cocoa powder and some are squeezed to obtain Belgian cocoa butter and paste, which are part of the components of this product.
To make our dark chocolate bar, we have replaced conventional sugar with all-natural sweeteners such as maltitol and steviol glycosides (stevia). This combination means that it retains a similar taste and aroma to conventional Belgian chocolate, but without increasing blood glucose levels.

A healthy chocolate
I use it to give some flavor and crunchy texture to the nutritional cakes I prepare and it comes in handy. It is a little more expensive than supermarket chocolates without sugars but, nutritionally, they are a thousand times better. As I don't have a sweet tooth, I haven't tried it on its own, in the recipes it seems to bring less pure chocolate flavor... but for the use I give it, it's great.
