What are the sources of omega-3?
There are many foods with omega-3 available in the supermarket. However, most of them have a low supply and proportion of these fatty acids when compared to other PUFAs or saturated acids.
That is why most omega-3 food supplements contain fish oil, which also raises the following question:
Can vegans consume omega-3 products? Now they can, we have done it in HSN!
It is quite strange to find products in the competence that contain vegan omega-3, not only because they contain fish oil, but also because there is a lack of knowledge regarding the treatment of non-animal glazing agents, since most of the glazing agents of omega-3 softgels are made with gelatin, which usually comes from bovine and pork collagen.
In HSN we can say that our supplements are also suitable for vegans!
We have come up with a vegan Omega-3 product! It does not contain a single ingredient from animals.
Omega-3 fatty acids come from algae oil.
The fatty acid form is esterified in the form of triglycerides, which are of higher nutritional quality than other forms such as ethyl esters.
Hydroxypropyl starch, an ideal product for the esterification of algal oil, has been used for the production of the beads, leaving out gelatine:
Even if an omega-3 product is made from vegetable oils, it will not be suitable for vegans if the softgels are made from gelatin. Do not let anyone fool you!
Who said that a product suitable for vegans is only meant for vegans? Anyone can benefit from vegan Omega-3!
How can we combine Vegan Omega-3 Algae Oil 1000mg?
You can combine it with
Create the ultimate stack by combining Vegan Omega-3, Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) and our new Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) suitable for vegans.
You will definitely get plenty of fatty acids!

Excellent omega 3

DHA has protective effects, since in addition to being part of brain membranes, it is converted into Neuroprotectin D1 (NPD1), a docosanoid with anti-inflammatory properties at the brain level and which regulates neuron apoptosis. This effect of DHA is being studied in neurodegenerative diseases and especially in Alzheimer's disease. Its consumption can help us to improve our cognitive performance and is especially indicated in old age to delay neuronal aging. The higher the proportion of EPA in the omega 3 less DHA we absorb, however, the opposite is not true because, when we take a high purity DHA, a part of it is transformed into EPA, in an amount dependent on the dose of DHA For all this I had been looking for an omega 3 that had only DHA and this is also vegan!!!!

Good amount per capsule, however, it would be better if it had EPA in addition to DHA.

I've only been taking it for a few days so I can't evaluate the product with certainty. Slight fishy smell if you smell the capsule, does not give digestion problems

Excellent product
Eliana 24/08/2022
I had long used Omega 3 containing DHA, however the composition was fatty fish and not algae. I noticed that I always focus a little stomach upset with the other Omegas, but with this one I did not. It is totally neutral on the stomach and does very well, because it has a lot of DHA and that is excellent on an inflammatory level. I am really enjoying this quality product. HSN is to be congratulated for developing such a good supplement, in my opinion.
