Ingredients
- Butter
- 300g sliced mushrooms or 25 g of freeze-dried mushrooms
- 1 large chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 120ml dry white wine
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 500ml water
- 1 Scoop (30ml) of FoodSeries Protein Chicken Broth Powder
- 2 tbsp low-sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Hot Sauce
- 2 tsp Honey
- ¾ tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 Packets (85g) of instant Ramen Noodles (without the seasoning packet)
- 1 Handful of chard
- 2 Boiled (or poached) eggs

How to make: High-Protein Ramen with Chicken and Mushrooms

- Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large pot over medium-high heat and sauté the mushrooms until golden (approx. 4 minutes).
- Remove and set aside.
- Add a bit more butter and brown the seasoned chicken breast in the same pot for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove and set aside.
- Add the chopped garlic to the pot and lightly brown.
- Add the white wine and reduce the heat.
- Use a spatula to scrape up any bits stuck to the bottom of the pot and allow the wine to reduce by half (4-5 minutes).
- Add the water, Protein Chicken Broth Powder, soy sauce, hot sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
- Bring to a gentle boil.
- Add the Swiss chard and mix well.
- Add the Ramen noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes, until ready.
- Add the mushrooms and cook on low heat for a few more minutes.
- Serve with sliced chicken and boiled egg on top.
