Portion size:1 donut

  1. Mix the base: In a large bowl, add the quark and peanut butter. Stir well until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the protein: Incorporate the vanilla-flavoured protein powder and continue mixing until all the ingredients are well combined. The texture should be thick but smooth.
  3. Fill the moulds: Pour the mixture into silicone donut moulds. Use a piping bag or a cut corner of a freezer bag to make the process easier.
  4. Freeze: Place the moulds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until fully solid.
  5. Prepare the coating: Melt the dark chocolate with a bit of coconut oil in a bain-marie or microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring each time.
  6. Unmould: Take the donuts out of the freezer and carefully remove from the moulds to avoid breaking.
  7. Dip and decorate: Dip each donut in the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off and place on parchment paper. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with chopped peanuts—and done!
