Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 375g of meat
  • Cannelloni or pasta sheets
  • 50g of grated cheese
  • 180g of tomato sauce
  • 20g of sun-dried tomatoes
  • 65g of cream cheese
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 1 tsp of HSN FoodSeries Cayenne Powder
  • 15g of butter
  • 25g of HSN FoodSeries Flavourless Instant Oat Flour
  • Milk or plant-based drink
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Nutmeg (to taste)

  1. Heat some olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic over low heat until golden.
  2. Add the meat and cook until it browns nicely.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, cream cheese, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and spices. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the oat flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  6. Gradually pour in warm or hot milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  7. Season with salt, nutmeg, and black pepper to taste.
  8. Place a portion of the filling on each pasta sheet, being careful not to overfill, and roll them up into cannelloni shapes.
  9. Spread a thin layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
  10. Arrange the filled cannelloni on top and cover them with the remaining béchamel sauce.
  11. Sprinkle grated cheese and a bit of black pepper on top for a crispy gratin.
  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
