This amount strictly corresponds to the official list price recommended by the manufacturer (or by our product development department in the case of own brands) for individual sale in the general retail market.

This information is used solely as an informative reference to allow the consumer to compare our current price with the standard market price suggested for a product of that category and quality.

Why is our price much lower? The large difference you perceive is not because the PVPR is inflated, but due to our business model. At HSN we operate under a Fair Price policy based on our business model with the elimination of intermediaries (Direct-to-Consumer Model). The PVPR reflects the cost the product would have if it went through the traditional distribution chain (Importer > Wholesaler > Physical Store).

By purchasing on our website you acquire the product while avoiding those added costs. Therefore, the "discount" shows the structural savings we offer versus the industry's standard recommendation.
