What is Evodiet 2.0?

Evodiet 2.0 by SportSeries is a flavoured vegetarian powdered food preparation based on milk protein and soy protein isolate. It contains essential fatty acids, plant extracts, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and sweetener.

Evodiet 2.0 contains a unique HSN formula that combines several protein sources such as whey, caseins and soya. Supplemented with classic herbal extracts such as green tea leaf extract and cayenne fruit extract.

Evodiet 2.0 is a protein suitable for vegetarians.

The herbal extracts used in the development of the Evodiet 2.0 formula are standardised to a specific concentration of their chemical constituents. For example:

Green tea leaf extract powder is standardised to 2% caffeine.

Beta-Galactosidase, Tolerase™

We've used the trademarked Tolerase™ as a source of Beta-galactosidase.

This enzyme preparation of lactase is standardised to a high activity of 100000 ALU/g.

Cayenne Extract, Capsimax™

The Capsicum anuum fruit extract used is Capsimax™, a quality raw material recognised for its standardised content of capsaicinoids, at 2%.

Standardisations

Standardising content in the chemical constituents of the plants (in this case the extracts) is a guarantee of quality as we certify the presence of the compounds we're interested in using in each of the extracts, and whose presence or absence in non-standardised conditions we wouldn't know, for example due to degradation during the treatment process.

Good solubility

If you're used to using bulk herbal extracts, you'll have noticed that they dissolve rather poorly in water. Will this happen to me with Evodiet 2.0 extracts?

No.

Evodiet 2.0 is an excellent dissolving protein, and the balanced concentrations of herbal extracts present in the formula do not polymerise and promote clumping.

The solubility of Evodiet 2.0 means that by using a shaker, even with herbal extracts, the product is completely homogenised and lump-free.

You’re sure to be thinking 'wow, cayenne extract, will it be spicy?'?

Of course not, the Capsimax™ extract used has been selected as it has reduced SHU (Heat Units) values, meaning it isn’t spicy in its pure form.

You won't notice the presence of Evodiet 2.0's stronger flavoured compounds, in fact it's one of our most prized proteins for its taste, as thanks to its omega 3 and 6 fatty acid content, its sweetness and density are perceived more intensely.

The scoop/product quantity equivalences (grams or milligrams) are indicative, as the density of powdered products may vary between flavours and batches.     Easy to digest important in people like me with intestinal pathology, (a somewhat thicker texture) which I love than soy protein. I took it neutral flavor to try it has a slight soy flavor if you add cinnamon is an exquisite taste. Great discovery.

  • Excellent surprise (neutral taste)

    I chose a neutral taste to avoid the sucralose present in the other versions. I was afraid it would taste like cardboard: not at all! The taste is mild, a bit like rice porridge or oatmeal: you can eat the preparation like that, even if a bit of cinnamon or other sweetness enhances it, but it's really to please yourself. The packaging is, as usual, not great.
