This system adds an extra point of security, using the thenar eminence of the palm as an anchor point for the fabric wraps around the wrist and the closure tracing.
The closure consists of a high-strength, durable Velcro system that won’t fray over time and that closes the wristband comfortably like on day one.
The problem with many wristbands with protection systems like HSN’s is that they aren’t comfortable, since they’re made of extremely stiff textile material that’s fine for short use, but if worn for a whole training session they become uncomfortable, even causing superficial skin injuries to the athlete.
