What are Gym Pods? The latest trend in private training

  • Gym Pod is a 24-hour “container gym” concept that allows you to book a small space for private training at affordable prices. It aims to be an alternative to conventional gyms, providing multiple advantages to its users.
  • Each Gym Pod is equipped for strength training and cardio and can be adapted to various training needs. Sessions typically last 30 minutes, not counting set-up and pick-up time.
  • Its creator, Damian Chow, opened the first Gym Pod in Singapore in June 2018, inspired by offering those interested in fitness training a safe, comfortable, personal and available full-time space.
  • The idea is that people can have a capsule as close to them as possible, whether they are at home, at work or simply on the move.
Since then, its popularity has continued, especially since the demand generated by COVID-19’s restrictive measures, as it accommodates a maximum of 3 people at a time.
