Vitamin D3 2000IU by Now Foods is a dietary supplement in softgels, based on cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), with extra virgin olive oil.
Vitamin D is an essential nutrient, as our body is not able to produce it in sufficient quantities to cover the daily requirements. Dietary sources of vitamin D3 are very scarce, and mostly based on fatty fish.
Vitamin D3 2000IU is high potency vitamin D3 of animal origi.
Vitamin D comes in two forms:
Each softgels contains 2000 International Units (IU) of vitamin D3.
A high dose that equals 1000% of the Nutrient Reference Values, ideal for restoring your vitamin D status, especially in the winter months and reduced sun exposure.
This vitamin D3 is not synthetic, it comes from lanolin, a fatty secretion of sheep, with which they enrich the wool they produce, and which is naturally rich in vitamin D3.
Oil has been used in the softgels as a conductive vehicle as we are dealing with a liposoluble vitamin; but not just any oil.

Essential vitamin. Very good formulation. Natural ingredients. No seed oils, which are harmful, but olive oil, which is of better quality. It is important since being fat soluble it is essential for its absorption. Small pearls easy to swallow and tasteless.

Vitamin d is important for the body, at least for me as a diabetic. Since I've been taking it, I feel better and I hardly catch a cold. I am certainly delighted.
