As Director of Quality and Food Safety at HSN, I lead the global quality system strategy and have the privilege of managing a highly trained, multidisciplinary and technical team whose expertise and commitment are essential to maintaining a robust, preventive and excellence-driven system.


I coordinate the document control and supplier and raw material assessment teams, the release and complaints teams, the regulatory department, the production process control teams and the product technical development staff.


I lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a quality and food safety management system aligned with GMP and IFS Food standards, ensuring operational excellence, traceability and product integrity at every stage.


I oversee audits, health inspections, process and equipment validations, and the continuous updating of HACCP, hygiene plans and management system programmes, including food defence and anti-fraud plans, as well as risk and non-conformity management.


My approach combines technical leadership, strategic vision and a culture of continuous improvement to ensure safe, effective and regulatory-compliant products.


Professional education


My academic background focuses on biochemistry, biotechnology and food safety, with a specialised technical foundation in raw material assessment, interpretation of industrial processes and implementation of quality control systems.


This training enables me to manage quality systems from a scientific and rigorous perspective, ensuring sound strategic decisions focused on continuous improvement.
