What is Calcium Caseinate?
Calcium Caseinate by RawSeries is a food preparation based on calcium salts of bovine casein.
Casein is a phosphoprotein naturally present in mammalian milk, which is extracted by coagulation processes and alkalinised by mixing with calcium salts to form calcium caseinate (Southward, 2003).

Solubility
HSN's calcium caseinate has been developed from the coagulated acid casein of cow's milk, by a process of alkalinisation with calcium salts, and subsequent spray drying (spray dryer).
This results in a protein with a lower density than classic caseins, and greater ease of colloidal dispersion.
Calcium caseinate mixes easily in water or milk, does not form lumps and has a low sedimentation rate after mixing, making it one of the lightest textured proteins on the market.
Low fat and sugar free
The raw milk used to make our calcium caseinate has been pasteurised and skimmed beforehand, so the product has a low fat content. Each serving provides only 0.3g.
The alkalinisation treatment with calcium salts neutralises the sugars potentially present in the initial acidic casein. The processing of this food preparation eliminates almost all of the sugar naturally present in the original milk.

Neutral flavour
The taste of calcium caseinate is neutral, with a milky aftertaste.

The viscosity of calcium caseinate is very low, which means that it does not alter the texture of the solution significantly.

How to take Calcium Caseinate?
One serving is made by dissolving one scoop (20g) in 200ml of skimmed milk, or water. Consume as many servings as you need to meet your daily protein intake nutritional needs.

I bought it in neutral flavor to save me sweeteners and others and I already put flavor by adding some fruit with cheese shake and it is very rich and for the price and quality hard to beat, the bag type packaging does not convince me and it is not the most practical but it is to put a but the rest very happy good digestion and 0 problems.

Very good casein, casein was my first supplement since 1985 and this is certainly one of the best, neutral flavor and goes very well with water and pure cocoa.
