Odorless Garlic Oil Extract (100:1) 10mg: Source of Antioxidants
Odorless Garlic Oil Extract (100:1) 10mg by EssentialSeries is a food supplement based on garlic clove extract (Allium sativum), 100 times more concentrated than the original raw material, and encapsulated in small, easy-to-eat, vegan softgels.
The selected treatment of the garlic cloves used to produce the product eliminates the characteristic sulphur smell of white garlic, so our softgels are odourless and tasteless.
The best way to reap the benefits of garlic cloves. No unpleasant taste or smell.
Odorless Garlic Oil Extract by HSN. It's unique!
You'll find many garlic extracts on the market, some of which are also odourless, but here's why HSN's product is unrivalled.
We are developers, manufacturers and sellers of our own food supplements and control everything so that the highest quality of our products is guaranteed.
Garlic oil extract. Not one more
Garlic naturally contains a small fraction of lipids where the characteristic organosulphides of the clove are found.
Therefore, it is usually the oil from the bulb of the garlic clove that is of nutritional interest, as this is where the compounds that are of interest for use as food supplements are found.
This is like coffee: If you want to make a coffee to wake you up, you use the beans because they contain a higher percentage of caffeine than the leaves.
The same is true here. Not all garlic extracts are the same, not all use the right parts or concentrate them in a meaningful way so that the usable amounts in a softgels are useful.
Our garlic extract is:
- Oil extract derived exclusively from the tooth.
It is also 100 times more concentrated. Just one softgel with 10mg of extract provides the equivalent of using 1000mg of pure garlic cloves.
The most concentrated and convenient presentation to benefit from the nutritional effects of white garlic!
Control of the production and preservation of sulfoxides
Garlic contains a wide variety of phytonutrients called sulfoxides, which are compounds containing the chemical element sulphur, and which interact positively in many aspects of human metabolism, giving garlic many of its effects.
These compounds include:
- S-Allyl-L-Cysteine (ACS).
- Allicin and Allysine.
- Di-Allyl-Di-Sulphide (DADS).
- Di-Allyl-Tri-Sulphide (DATS).
- S-Allyl-Mercapto-Cysteine (SAMC).
The extraction process of HSN's product has not used aggressive solvents on the garlic, so that the whole treatment guarantees the best preservation of the broad spectrum of sulphur phytochemicals in the garlic clove.
Once packaged, the product is stored in specific areas of our warehouses under controlled conditions to ensure that there is 0% degradation and environmental damage to the oil extract of the product.
Harvesting and collection guarantees
Strict control of the cultivation of garlic is an indispensable factor in ensuring the highest quality of the clove and the presence of the above-mentioned compounds.
The garlic used for the development of odourless garlic oil extract by HSN has been cultivated by controlling temperature, humidity and sun exposure throughout the cultivation and harvesting process, including the treatment to obtain the garlic clove raw material.
This ensures that the garlic used for extraction has the highest possible content of nutritionally desirable compounds specific to the clove, so that the extract obtained is rich in a wide variety of sulphur phytochemicals.
At HSN we take care of every step of the manufacturing and marketing process of our accessories.
Vegan Softgel. Easy to drink and suitable for everyone
Garlic oil extract, even if odourless, still has a characteristic taste, due to the sulphur compounds that are present in the phytonutritional properties of the plant, which is not pleasant.
There are two main alternatives to fix this:
- Treating garlic oil to make it a powder
This has a major drawback, and that is that the treatments by which garlic oils are turned into powder, or microencapsulated, significantly degrade a significant percentage of the organosulphides naturally present in the raw material, causing the quality of the extract to be seriously compromised.
At HSN we have rejected this way of obtaining our extract because of the negative impact it has on quality.
- Encapsulate in softgels
If you coat the garlic oil extract in softgels, you prevent the oil from coming into contact with the taste buds and therefore: 'it doesn't taste'.
This poses problems, mainly stemming from the agent used to make pearls, which is always gelatine.
Gelatine is obtained from the processing of soft tissues of animals, and makes a product such as garlic oil extract, which is perfectly usable by people on vegetarian and vegan diets, no longer an option.
In addition, gelatine is highly allergenic in a small percentage of the population, but this is also something to consider.
At HSN we do not want to limit the benefits of using our products based on the food preference of our customers, so we have used a special vegetable additive, called hydroxypropyl starch, which is nothing more than the molecule you can find in corn flour, treated to make it 'gel', which allows the oil to remain coated like a softgels.
Odourless garlic oil extract softgels by HSN are rougher and slightly softer than gelatine beads, which is normal for the use of a vegan coating agent.
Correct composition. No unnecessary additives
Additives are ingredients that are added to products to improve aspects related to the preservation, appearance or usability of the product.
However, additives have no nutritional benefits, and loading products with additives is undesirable and unnecessary.
There are additives that must be used in certain cases, for example, hydroxypropyl starch is an additive, it is the ingredient that is used to prepare vegan softgels, and if it were not used, this product would not be possible.
However, most of the use of additives in the supplement industry are aesthetic additives, used to add colour, smell and general appearance to products. And at HSN we have said NO!
We don't want unnecessary additives in our food supplements, and adding colour or texture to a pearl is not necessary for the product to keep better or be more convenient for the customer to use. That is why we explain the additives we use in the product:
- Thickener: Hydroxypropyl starch.
The processing of the starch that is used as the basis for the coating agent that forms the veggie softgel.
- Humectant: Glycerine.
Agent used to bring starch to the consistency necessary to remain gelled and solid at room temperature. The source of glycerin is vegetable, not bovine.
And that's all there is to it! Easy, isn't it?
Genuine Odourless. Guaranteed
Odourless garlic extracts are inaccurate.
Many companies label odourless extracts that literally don't smell, but there is a problem with this:
The total absence of odour of what would be the raw material is only an indication of the absence of sulfoxides in its composition, so we are dealing with a product without the phytochemicals that we want to find in a garlic extract.
The 'odourless' of garlic clove oil extracts that is really being pursued is that which prevents garlic breath, and the production of garlic-derived body odour.
That is exactly what we offer you with this product.
The raw material has been treated, as we have previously established, in a non-aggressive way, so as not to affect in any way the constituents naturally present in garlic, so that its ingestion doesn't produce:
- Garlic breath.
- Garlic body odour.
A 100% odourless extract. Authentic.
No saturated oils
Bear in mind that the garlic clove oil extract present in one softgel is only 10mg, this is because it is highly concentrated.
The extract is mixed with an oil to reduce the content and to be able to make the pearls with a precise content. At HSN we have used a high quality sunflower oil.
We reject the use of butter and tropical oils, no palm or rapeseed!
The sunflower oil we use is sourced from agriculture that complies with European standards to ensure it doesn't have a negative impact on the environment. We take a strong stance against deforestation practices associated with the uncontrolled harvesting of oils from oceanic and southern regions, such as palm oil.
The amount of sunflower oil contained in a pearl is only a few milligrams, so it has no nutritional impact from its intake anyway, and is only used as an ingredient to 'dilute' the mixture with the garlic clove oil extract.
Odorless Garlic Oil Extract (100:1) 10mg: All the properties of white garlic in a small vegan softgel.
Garlic is a plant that has been used for centuries for its culinary application, where it gives flavour and aroma to dishes, who hasn't used garlic in cooking!
However, the properties of garlic go far beyond this, and this was discovered thanks to decades of research into the nutritional composition of the garlic clove itself, all the phytochemicals it contains, and how these can be preserved in the best possible way, because we have already said that this is a key factor.
When garlic is consumed properly, research scientists report in their studies that:
'Garlic (Allium sativum) is the culinary promise that has moved from our kitchen pantries to the forefront of any dietary supplement choice for maintaining a healthy lifestyle'
