Why Buy Nutritional Yeast by HSN?
Intense and unique flavour
Inactive yeast has an intense umami flavour.
Umami, despite being the least-known basic taste, is both truly unique and known to be an enhancer of other flavours, bringing out the characteristic taste of salt and spicy ingredients.
Nutritional yeast is used both in recipes and as a condiment thanks to its characteristic taste and because you don't need to cook it before eating it.
In fact, despite being strongly associated with vegan diets, nutritional yeast has been used for decades in American cinemas to add a nutty, cheesy flavour to popcorn.
This flavour is the same reason it's often used as a substitute for powdered cheese on pasta with tomato and cream. Try it out!
