We present Organic Barley Malt Extract by Meridian, an organically farmed barley malt syrup, obtained from natural fermentation without additives or colorants. Barley syrup uses purified enzymes for conversion of the cereal’s starch into a simpler sugar.

Its texture is similar to that of honey, making it a popular substitute for sugar in healthy eating products and it can be used to sweeten both cold and hot drinks, puddings or cakes and tarts. It doesn’t lose its sweetening power when heated and is ideal for sweetening infusions, teas or coffees or for spreading on bread or toast.

Thanks to natural sweeteners, such as barley malt extract, we have at our disposal the opportunity to sweeten drinks and dishes with a much healthier alternative to conventional sugar. In addition, its composition is completely natural and organic, and therefore our health will not suffer at any time.
