What is Evodren?

Evodren by HSNsports is a food supplement that contains a combination of plant extracts that have been designed to:

• Help us lose fat thanks to the effect of the Garcinia Cambogia extract.
• Support the health of the urinary tract thanks to the effect of the Bearberry extract.
• Increase the amount of urine output thanks to the effect of the Dandelion extract.

Why take Evodren?

To do this, our kidneys need to be able to function properly, filtering the waste products generated by our metabolism and excreting them through the urine.

The main system that regulates this mechanism is the Renin - Angiotensin (I and II) hormone system. It is in charge of regulating the balance between the amount of liquid and minerals filtered and reabsorbed by our kidneys.

When the activity of this system increases, there is more Angiotensin II, which is why our organism reabsorbs some of the water that has been already filtered by the kidneys instead of excreting it. Consequently, this causes an imbalance of the amount of water in the body.

What are the consequences? It will increase the water volume and the concentration of mineral salts in the organism, causing liquid retention, increasing the blood pressure and damaging the kidneys and cardiovascular system (Fountain and Lapin, 2019).

Does this have anything to do with the product?

Of course it does! The diuretic effects of the ingredients from Evodren are connected to the Renin - Angiotensin system. Thanks to the properties of vitamin C which inhibits the Angiotensin II, preventing the reabsorption of water after being filtered by the kidneys.

What are the properties of Evodren?

This product contains an ingredient complex that will enhance the diuretic effects of vitamin C:

• Dandelion Extract: it will help to regulate the stomach pH and support the gastrointestinal system thanks to its prebiotic effects.
• Garcinia Cambogia extract: it inhibits the ATP citrate lyase enzyme, which is in charge of creating new fatty acids that will be stored if we do not oxidize them.
• Bearberry extract: it supports the proper functioning of the bladder and urinary tract.

The Dandelion extract used in our Evodren 'increases the frequency and rate of the urinary excretion in healthy people' (Clare at al., 2009).

With a high Vitamin C content! According to the research by Alexander (2014), it is a diuretic that inhibits the Angiotensin II receptors, like we mentioned previously. Vitamin C also blocks the mechanism that contracts the smooth tissue muscles such as the bladder, which makes it difficult to urinate (Aldestein and Sellers, 1987).

In order to complete the product, we have also included green tea extract, juniper extract, parsley extract, cranberry extract and black pepper extract. The latter has antioxidant properties and it helps to regulate the blood pressure.

How to take Evodren

Take one capsule of Evodren twice a day with a meal. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to make sure that your kidneys are healthy (Roncal-Jiménez et al., 2015).
