The Knee-pads by Chiba have been designed to provide stability to your knees while doing exercises that could harm this joint.
They are made of 51% latex, 28% polyester and 21% polyamine, materials that provide strength and elasticity for a proper adjustment.
The knee is a joint that has a high risk of injury mainly due to its anatomical position. It is located between two long levers that are the thigh and the lower leg, and the flexion and extension movements take place in the sagittal plane. There are certain ligaments and cartilage structures that stabilize the knee and prevent rotation movements and torsion.
However, a poorly executed movement can result in an abnormal rotation movement that can injure both the soft tissue (muscle sprains or elongations) and bone (dislocations, meniscus tears, etc.).
