Synephrine: What It Is, Benefits, Effects, How to Take it

What is Synephrine?

Synefrine is the main active ingredient found in Citrus aurantium, popularly known as Sour Orange, and which has a long tradition in Chinese medicine under the name of “Zhi Shi” and is currently being studied by researchers.

Considerations

In healthy people synephrine does not present problems, but it is advisable not to use it for long periods of time, it is generally advised to do so in two months with resting at least half of that time before using it again. People who have cardiovascular or hypertension problems should refrain from using synephrine. It should not be taken before bed as it interferes with sleep.
